we left luang prabang to go visit phonsavan in the xieng kouang province, the home of the plain of jars.
there are two main tribes in that roam around the mountains of xieng kouang. the 'khmu' and the 'hmong'. khmu stay around the middle section of the mountains ad the hmong are usually up the top. theyre both nomadic people, setting up camp along the main roads. you pass heaps of little villages along the 5 hr drive.
