as good as it looks, this was a pretty mediocre feast. you really cant trust the big famous restaurants to deliver. youre better off going straight local.


lao style banh mi wasnt really a shade on the vietnamese

however these roadside bbqs were amazing, the closest thing you see to drive thru




went full tourist and rode on some elephants






something i forgot to mention of the shacks. they can look as poor as anything, but they always have a satellite dish out the front




this was pretty amazing, its called 'sindarth'. half steamboat, half korean style bbq. the bbq thing sits on top of some hot coals. you put your meat on top and put your vegies/noodles in the stock. then you just pick things off into your own bowl and enjoy. the egg is used in the stock to thicken it up at the end. one of my favourite meals there.
